Hello!

My Story

I have been a proud resident of the Osseo School District for much of my life. I grew up in Maple Grove, attended Elm Creek Elementary and Osseo Junior High, and later bought my first home in Maple Grove. I now reside happily in Brooklyn Park with my husband, Brooklyn Park City Councilmember Christian Eriksen, and our six children.

We are a modern day Brady Bunch, having combined two households, each with three children, into one!

We have three children currently attending Osseo Schools, two at Park Center High School and one at Birch Grove Elementary, and our eldest just graduated from Park Center.

We are a family who cares deeply about our community and civic engagement. Aside from my full time job, marketing in the healthcare IT industry, I spend a lot of time supporting wonderful political candidates with marketing, brand, design, and communications through my freelance marketing consultancy, Iron Rose Marketing. 

I am running for Osseo School Board to protect and grow the things we love about our schools. The support our children have found through amazing teachers, sports, and like-minded students has given them an incredibly safe place to explore who they are becoming. These schools have truly provided a springboard for our kids to explore their passions, grow their interests, and excel not just academically, but socially and emotionally. I am so proud of our teachers and staff for creating such an atmosphere.

I will work to amplify student voices. I will work to preserve an environment where our students feel safe to explore new ways of thinking and new disciplines. I will work to support our amazing, hardworking teachers and staff, trusting their expertise and experience. And I will work with my fellow school board members to foster a collaborative board, respecting each individual's experience and viewpoint, while keeping the needs of students at the forefront.
